A little bit about each of us…
Luka
Luka has been fishing since he could stand on his two feet; sometimes had skipped school classes to catch some pike. He is a photographer and a fly fisherman discovering new waters in the Balkan area and capturing every moment of it with his camera. Luka came up with the idea of the Balkan Fly Tour.
Vedran
Vedran was born by the Gacka river, made his first steps and has lived there his whole life. Since he was a kid, he watched the river, the fish and the fisherman. Vedran is an expert on the Gacka Browns and knows the river like the back of his hand.
Žiga
Born and raised where the Alps begin, Žiga has been fly fishing whole his life. He is a true explorer, adventurist, snowboarder and a professional fisherman. He caught fish on most of the Slovenian rivers and streams and definitely broke some record with 95cm Brown Trout and 110cm Marble Trout.
Hrvoje
Just like Vedran, Hrvoje is a kid from Gacka and he spends every minute on the Gacka river. He is a true nature lover and trying hard to protect the prestige name of Gacka. He can show you the most hidden spots of Gacka and owns a hotel where you can rest after fishing all day.
Filip
Filip is fishing his whole life, and tried every kind of it, from working on a Big Game boats to Black Bass competitions. He found that fly fishing is his favourite fishing, and is eager catching all fish species on balkan with fly rod.
Jure
Jure comes from Trilj, the town by the river Cetina. The river flows right behind his house. Fly fishing has a tradition in Jure’s family, so Jure made his first fly fishing steps following his father. He is now a member of the Croatian Fly Fishing Team and also a soldier, so while showing you the wildest parts of Cetina, he can keep you safe.
Željko
Željko is a fly fishing and a Grayling fan. He lives in Slunj, near the Slunjčica river. Željko likes spending his non-working hours fishing on Slunjčica. He knows every Grayling in Slunjčica by its name and this reflects in his great fishing achievements, such as a 56cm long Grayling.
