MRZLA VODICA LAKE - pike fishing

Mrzla vodica is a beautiful lake in the middle of Gorski kotar county in Croatia. Pike fishing is certainly what this little lake is known for. The catch and release regime for all types of fish has been declared on the lake, thus protecting the fish stock and giving them the opportunity to show their potential. The main predator is definitely a pike but there is no suprise when a huge Brown Trout bite your streamer. The water is full of grass and branches, and for the most part it is necessary to use "weedless" streamers or lures.
